I just bought this game today. I've been interested in the game, since the guy who created it was the same guy who created Devil May Cry, one of my all time favorite game series, so I had to check it out.

It's awesome. The combat is just so crazy and over the top that you just can't help be be amazed by some of the crazy things you can pull off (For example, you can throw baddies into a iron maiden that appears out of nowhere), and Bayonetta herself is probably one of the most entertaining, endearing female lead to appear in a video game in quite sometime. She kind of reminds me of Julie Newmar's Catwoman a little.

If you love the Devil May Cry games, or just love crazy, over the top action, then you need to get this game.

I agree, it's a fantastic game. I'm a bit over half way through it now. So I'm sure that I'll finish it the first time sometime tomorrow. But it also seems to have a lot of replay value, which is a plus. If you are like me and have both a 360 and a PS3, I would highly recommend getting it on 360 (which is rare for me, I prefer my PS3). It is due to the original company not doing the transfer to PS3, so it ended up being a sloppy system translation. So I'm playing on 360.

i must say that while i respect your opinions and understand that bayonetta has recieved hugely positive reviews, upon playing the demo on my 360 i hated every second of it.

I don't wanna go off-topic, but I have a quick question.

For those that have the Xbox 360, can you play ALL Xbox 1 games on the Xbox 360 or not? I'm thinking about getting one this spring.

Don't know in th US, but I'm afraid no, I usually refere to this official list: LINK, but maybe it's different for NTSC territories.

Regarding Bayonetta I'm playing right now, great graphics and atmosphere, but the gameplay is quite brainless, fun anyway.

You CANNOT play all the originals on the 360, so check the list.

Also, Xbox Live support for original Xbox games is ending this April, which includes Halo 1 and 2 multiplayer. Such is life I guess.
