This thread is for anyone interested on how to make your own personal Super Mario World.

Do 2 quick searches on the following on Google:

"CoolRom" and "Lunar Magic".

How I started dates back in summer of 2004 when I was on "Lemmy's Land" website.

I looked in the games section and I saw 2 Super Mario Worlds made by Hip and Young Link.

Checked out one of them and I thought to myself, "What the heck??? This is a bit too much! But fun!"

So that's how I got started. Hope you find this interesting.

Are there any good tutorials out there to get started with this? The help file is very unstructured. Is there any way to erase the overworld and every level and start from scratch? Links appreciated!

Customization is broad but limited. For example you can't alter the boss battles.
