This game just became available in the Wii shop today. I went ahead and downloaded it instead of waiting ten days for it to be in the PSN store. Any other Wii owners here buy this yet for 1000 Nintendo Points?

I was pretty excited about it because I have played through Mega Man 1-8 in the MMAC for Gamecube, and Mega Man 9 on the Wii. Also, I recently got through "Mega Man and Bass" for Gameboy Advance. My PS3 is backwards compatible with PS2 discs so I got through the entire Mega Man X Collection, Mega Man X7, and Mega Man X8 last year. I wonder if Mega Man X9 will ever be made. :?

What are the robot masters in this one?

I love seeing what they come up with.

lol sheep man...I love Mega Man. I played mega man X one through 6. I never beat six though. I didn't have the patience and it was so different from the other games that I didn't like it so much. I have X 8 and I don't like that one either. I hate when they make too many changes to a game series. It annoys me. Like who the hell is Axel? I don't like him just because he's new and he came out of nowhere. Also since they changed the graphics of the game, it has a different feeling to it. Maybe it's just my resistance to change and it might actually be a good game if I gave it a chance.

Sheep Man's weapon is the dreaded THUNDER WOOL! :)

About to say it's either has to do with sleep or static

Mega Man X is coming to the XBL Arcade soon. I'll most likely buy it even though I haven't beat 9 yet. I probably never will.

Is that because the Xbox control pad makes it too difficult?

I don't know about the X box but the Gamecube control pad is really frustrating.

I often hear gamers put-down the Xbox control pad and say its hard to use. This is probably because of its awkward shape. I like the Wii Classic Controller better than holding the Wiimote sideways for Mega Man games. The Classic Controller has L/R buttons to quickly switch Mega Man's weapons.

I played through the entire Mega Man Anniversary Collection on Gamecube using its controller, and the directional pad didn't bother me at all by the way.

I played through the entire thing too. That was after changing the button format about 3 times to find a good one though. The default one didn't work for me. You couldn't dash and jump easily while charging your weapon. I figured it out though eventually.

You're talking about the "Mega Man X Collection" right? The PS3 controller worked good for that when I played through it recently.

I got it. I got through like 4 of the stages. One of the rare times I have done well on a Megaman game.

Are you playing through Mega Man 10 on the new "easy" difficulty mode? Capcom added this new feature for people who normally think Mega Man games are too hard.

Don't feel bad about playing on easy mode, Mega Man games are hard.

Heck, the NES version of Mega Man 2's "Normal" mode was actually the easy mode for us brain-numb westerners, and the "Difficult" mode was the japanese version. In the Mega Man Anniversary Collection games, there is no choice between normal or difficult; it's ALL the boosted up Japan difficulty, which is quite noticeable in boss battles. Just spamming the right weapon doesn't do it, since you die if you don't dodge the enemy attacks.
