Hey all you gamelovers, i wanted your opinion and your wise, words of intellect on these two games. There called Bioshock and Bioshock 2. I looked at em and they look awsome and interesting, i saw Bioshock 2 on commercial and it looked interesting, and so is the graphics, they make it look realalistic. Both of them look like games to drie your pockets for, and plus it gives you first hand at marinebiology, while fighting like you are an all mighty warrior. However, that is only my opinion of awsomeness, let's your opinions of awsomeness, don't be shy. Without further ado, let the talkathon begin.

Unless you're a huge fan of multiplayer shooters Bioshock 1 is superior to Bioshock 2 in pretty much every way. Both are good games, Bioshock 1 though is a great game. It's too intense for some people to get through though, it can be pretty creepy and grisly, but it is also quite an experience.

Haven't played the 2 yet, the one ranks in my top 10, I'd say the best feature was the general atmosphere.

They are good, though they have a slightly different feel, first one is allows you to learn about things, though can be kind of scary as you are almost just a mere man and enemies can jump out and fight huge brawlers called Big Daddys, it can be a bit of a horror. The second one makes you a Big Daddy, most enemies don't stand a chance and it can be fun throwing you weight around, as you feel stronger just knowing you are one.

Bioshock 1 is good. I felt it was a bit short but its a decent length for a shooter. The story has a good twist to it. The NPCs though look like they tried home-style plastic surgery with a cheese grater. The "good" path and "evil" path have no real effect on gameplay, it equals out in the end. It does effect the ending a bit and some NPC banter. The story is quite well written, it dragged me in and the bits and pieces of info scattered about are fun to find. Again the twist, it was superbly written into the game. When you learn it it will definitely surprise you.

Haven't played Bioshock 2 but from what I've read it fixes a lot of the gripes of the first game (can use plasmids and weapons at the same time). However it seems more focused on action than story. If you liked the first the second may be worth a play through.
