Metroid prime 3: corruption reptilicus hunters

I have heard on websites that you can see invisible reptilicus hunters after you get the x-ray visor (and also that the plasma beam is not effective), but I cannot find them anywhere after obtaining said items, or even much before getting them. As far as I know, reptilicus hunters only appear in a few scripted encounters early on in the game.

Does anyone know where I can find them? Sorry but I recently got this random obsession with finding them... It is kind of embarrassing and when I could not find anything I decided to ask on here and put an end to it.

I have that game but haven't played it much due to my replaying Pokemon Green. Sorry.

P.S I hear Other M is wayy better

I have Other M as well, I actually got it first and I played it heaps before finally getting bored of it. Yes it is good, I do not know if I would say it is better (the plot is not brilliant or the cutscenes) but the gameplay is great.

I hated Other M. Going back to a side-scroller style game was a step backwards in my opinion. No dodge while trying to fire missiles??? Seriously wtf???

They could have done so much more with a 3d game especially now that the the Wii Motion Plus is out.
