I had no idea this even existed! A few years ago I had searched for a tabletop emulator to no avail.
Should I use this module?

That's the one.
It basically lets you use a program called Vassal to play tabletop Warhammer 40K over the internet.
Vassal 40K is really obscure though I guess, because it's not an official product and it's a small team who have developed the 40K module.
I'm having difficulty getting into Warhammer 40K properly because I haven't really got anybody to play against.
Or more accurately, no real avenue for playing the game.
There's a local wargame club, but it's very poorly organised.
Even if you do get a game arranged, there's often no room to play.
The last time I went there was no room to even play Magic the Gathering all cramped up, or even a little bit of table space to lean on and do a bit of mini-painting.... never mind enough room to play a spread out game like Warhammer 40K. So I just had to come home, and it was a 32 mile journey for nothing. Boooooo !
The games of 40K which I've played I really enjoyed, though.

Would anybody like to have a tutorial match with me using Vassal, to help me learn the game better ?
I work 2 doors from a Games Workshop and only ogle at the figurines. It'd be great to try something like this out.
My only knowledge of Warhammer 40k is the Dawn of War videogames universe and a little bit of the Space Marines in book form.
