Mario peaked with Mario 3. Best powerups, most interesting levels, and fun/colorful bosses.

Mario is awesome, it never loses its charm (or at least not so much it's bad...) Bowser is my most favorite video game character...

I recently got done completely finishing Mario Galaxy 2.

I haven't played too many video games. However, I played my first game of Mario (the original) a couple of months ago and I have to agree with all of you. :D

I agree to certain degree about Mario 3 being the best, but I dont agree with the peaking. Mario games have always been excellent and whilst the core element of gameplay has always been consistent and varied enough to still make the gameplay entertaining. I have to say love New Super Mario Bros wii, before that Super Mario World on the SNES. Hail Mario and long may he continue to entertain us

Isn't that every Mario game... -_-

Anyways I love the Mario series. My favorite game in the series has to be Super Mario 64, I mean alot of it is due to nostalgia but it was just simply a perfect game in every right. Super Mario Bros. 3 and World are also beyond fantastic.

And also there are the spinoff series like Mario Party... I love the Mario Partys but the only truly great one was Mario Party 2 and since then the series was never as good as MP2 was simply amazing.

I like Mario only in 2d settings. For example, I had to push myself to finished Galaxy 1 and 2 sits on my shelf collecting dust; but I have finished new super mario bros. on the ds and wii and don't have an issue picking it back up and playing it a little if I wanted to.

I love Galaxy 1/2, all the old 2d ones, and the Mario Party games. I like a few of the others as well, just not my favourites :)

I think Smugleaf meant in New Super Mario Bros. for DS. There was a power-up which let you grow to a rather large size and just crush everything in your path for a few seconds.

I meant it somewhere between serious and ironic. I really do think Mario 3 had the best power-ups but I think the world that galaxy created for Mario was amazing in itself. Small worlds with their own gravities but you have to travel along such a small horizon. But for all that, I still think there's nothing as awesome as the hammer suit or the tanuki suit. The levels were fairly dynamic despite their generic concepts.

Mario is like Uncle Ruckus but not as racist.....he works tons of different jobs and he wears all the hats as well as he wears others.

I like being a raccoon or a penguin..
Is it really terrible that Yoshi, Peach, and Daisy irritate me? The first two are cute but their voices are .. :wall:
