This game is beyond awesome. For all you arcade rats, this game is pure beat 'em up glory. A varied enough moveset but not too complicated for the open beat 'em up format. You can revisit old locations. Within the levels, you can visit stores and purchase items for both consumables and for armor stats.

I'm only on my first playthrough but I could easily see doing multiple runs.

Playing on 360 and (by far) worth the 800 credits.

I thought the movie was pretty unremarkable, but this looks really good. I love the art style, animation and chiptune soundtrack.

They tried to cover the entire 6 volumes of the Scott Pilgrim comic series in one movie. I seriously doubt they could pull it off coherently without severely hurting character development.

The art style in the game resembles what the comic looked like.

I thought it was pretty good, I'm glad Paul Robertson finally stopped making fake videogame videos and finally made a real videogame, I never understood the point of his videos before. Perfect waste of awesome sprites, if you ask me

Only thing I didn't like about the game is that it's an Adobe Flash game...my friends and I were thinking that probably explains why it crashes more than Castle Crashers :x

Well, that and the XBox's d-pad makes the game very difficult, but with the "tap quickly to run" mechanic, it makes the analogue stick halfway bareable.

You should check out the TMNT movie tie-in game for the GBA, it's by the same company and very similar (I think it even has the same doberman sprites, but I'm not sure).

Well that's weird, I could've sworn I checked and made sure this did not double post...

I enjoy this game a lot. I have it for PS3. Luckily I've NEVER experienced a glitch or a crash yet. I love the soundtrack, and the numerous video game references thrown in through the whole game. As an older gamer this truly was a treat and semi throwback to what gaming really was when I was younger.

We had the 360 version crash four or five times. Fortunately, it autosaves, and it never seems to crash in the same spot twice (very random crashes, actually, doesn't seem to be any specific trigger).

There are no such things as random crashes (even if it's due to a number generator, it's a specific event or specific number pulled that causes the crash).

Anyways, I haven't had a crash yet....how many people were playing? Did it include headsets? I noticed on Madden that it'd freeze if I used the headset for the coordinator audio but if i just played it normal sans headset, it never froze.

Four people playing, all offline in the same room on the same XBox, no headsets required or plugged in.

I'm sure there is a trigger, but whatever it is isn't apparent.

Not like Castle Crashers where at least one of the crashes was caused by using the flute to dig in a specific area (something like that, it's been a while). But we felt it was appropriate, as the game even has the word 'crashers' in the title.
