All of us, except for the few NTs who joined this 'club', have some form of autism which means that we basically have difficulty getting along with others of our species. If you continue reading you will find out my reason for mentioning this.

From what I know about the game I know that I am not taking advantage of all its aspects. When I find myself at a dead end with the story line I have created for my Sim I find that I start to recolor clothes more often and want to create more Sims. Recoloring things is fun for me even though I don't think that the majority of the people on the Sims 3 website appreciate my sense of style. Some of the houses that players have created are absolutely amazing! Much better looking that most of the houses in this area. I really would love to be able to create Sims myself, but I have lots of trouble getting the result I want. Be patient I am almost up to the gist of the message.

Here it is the reason for this message, drum roll, please--My trend of thought was that there are some things that do not translate well to a written message. Some things can be taught better in person. Such as certain aspects of our beloved game. As in everything I mentioned in paragraph 2, and even more than that. All by myself, , I came up with the idea that it could be fun if EA were to have a Sims expo. There is so many possiblities of what should be included in it I won't mention any of it right now primarily because I could write on for the next 2 hours which seems rather foolish.

No, I haven't mentioned this on the Sims 3 website. Please let me know if you think this is a good idea or not. No I am asking on this site expecting people to say that they would go to the Expo. I have allready explained why in my first sentence. I am just asking if you think that it's a decent idea. From what I have read on the Sims 3 Forums I think those NTs would like very much to meet each other. First I would like to hear from YOU first before presenting it on the other website.

Please reply. The guy I live with is now hiding in the bathroom because he's afraid that I might start talking to him about the game again.

I've been Sims obsessed since version 1 and I'll admit that the variety of options for creating Sims in 3 (and 2, before) was confusing and frustrating for me. I tend to use the same personality features over and over -- generally creating a Sim who can navigate an NT world much more easily than I can.

Lately, I've been trying to create Sims more like myself, so that I can explore social interactions in a safe environment. Seeing a bubble reading "Tricia is behaving inappropriately" has really clued me in to things about myself that I hadn't necessarily been aware of.

I don't know if I would go to an Expo -- it's a great idea, but just not my thing.

Yeah, I understand completely about not wanting to attend a thing like this. I know I would want to only to learn more about all those parts of the game I having problems with. If a expo/convention should happen probably most people would be going for to socialize with the other players. That makes me feel as though I would be taking advantage of them, using them for their skills.

Thanks for writing. :D

So it was a bad idea, yes? I hoped that if it was a truly bad one that people would have said so rather than just not saying anything at all. Did anyone read the message? That last one was a rhetorical question.

See ya. irene
