Interesting article. Add another name to the "famous Aspies" list.

I have wondered for many years why I was the only Pokemon fan I knew who knew who Tajiri was. Now I know: it is because they were not nearly as obsessed as I was (and still am).

I would now like to meet him even more.

I have never been all that interested in Pokemon. I remember completely zoning out when watching Pokemon at a friend's house.

Oi. I don't like that people focus on the Pokemon anime. The games are where it's at!

Yeah, I known about it myself too! It was a game made by an Aspie for Aspies...

I think that's why the whole Pokémon thing appealed to me as a kid. Made by an Aspie therefore perfect for Aspies. I spent many happy days playing Pokémon red (and eventually blue when my brother got fed up of it!). I can't afford the later games though

Yeah, my brother grew out of Pokemon too and my parents I remember used to think it was cute as a kid, but now they just think it's geeky...

Awesome. Satoshi Tajiri should be in "The Famous Aspies" list.

Though i have stopped playing Pokemon, it is one of my favorite gaming franchises. I even went to the pokemon stores in New York and Tokyo!

It's a great way for my kids to meet others I've found.
