Do you ever find yourself getting angry while playing video games?
If so have you ever smashed a controller? or do u just utter cursewords (I tend to do this)?

My 4 year old brother has it really bad. I get a little irritated, but I'll stop playing once I stop enjoying it.

Not really. If I ever play multiplayer I just ignore the chatter of the other players unless it actually relates to the game in a useful manner. In campaigns where I play against the AI, if I start losing at a part of a level then I stop there and get back to it after I've rested and it's usually no probably to win when I'm fully awake.

i cant help rage quiting on fifa or streetfighter

To be honest, I have had a history of this over the years ranging from pounding on an arcade cabinet (Defender) to spiking (and breaking) my 360 controller after my 5th interception by the CPU in NCAA Football (also wound up slicing my finger on it when it bounced back). Although I haven't been as violent, I've never done very well playing alongside someone else either. Ever since stepping back and moving to casual gaming for fun, I've had fewer of these incidents, especially if I play alone (which is about 99% of the time).

Here's something. Which type of game do you think gets me angrier? Mario Galaxy(fun family oriented content) or Assassin's Creed(blood and violence)?

Haha. I do get a little angry with Ezio sometimes, but I get to cussing up a storm when Mario jumps the wrong way. I get into a rage and throw the wiimote on the floor. "Mario, you stupid SoB! That's not what I made you do!" and other such things I yell at the screen. I haven't played Mario in a little while now.

I used to have mass gaming rage as a little kid, most notably whenever I'd play Contra or Battletoads on my NES. Contra especially brung out my gaming rage if I didn't beat the game without losing even a single life.

Me, too. I have broken many controllers in my time as a gamer. Especially "cheap" actions programmed into the computer that facilitates the movements of NPCs or other in-game threats ground my gears more than anything else.

I have had fits of blind rage during other games, too, sputtering insults directed at the developers and their mothers .

Unfortunately, sometimes others would be around me whenever these rages would emerge, compounding my eventual embarrassment after calming down .

The Rage I will actually feed back into the Game and Vent it out there. like I will stop and going to play Games like Counter-Strike Source on a Team Deathmatch Server.
