I want to make a "Let's play" video, but afraid

There's this old Starwars game that I dug from my dusty crate of old games, and I re-installed it on my new Mac and had a ball with it. I badly wanted to do a "Let's play" video(play-through video with the player narrating), but I discovered someone else did a "Let's play" on this game as well! Should I continue anyway?

everyone has made a "lets play" of everything

I have been thinking about doing one, but it would be for my friends really. I don't care if anyone else wants to see it or not :P

Personally as an LPer beginner with one LP, (that wasn't with commentary but is an LP) it should not matter if someone has done an LP previously.
Besides I think it is down to your way of playing and keeping the viewer entertained if you are commentating but stay on topic. Either mention an event that is coming up in the game (boss battle) or talk about the series, nearer the end of the video I'd mention future LPs but mention this somewhere at the end of the current LP.

Even though that person already did a "Let's play" video of the old Starwars game you are talking about, you can still do the same let's play video but with commentary and special effects of your own.
