Hi. Just wondering, does anyone here really enjoy adventure games? I want to make them as a profession.

Games like Myst, Syberia, The Longest Journey, Dreamfall (beautiful game that deals with depression), Dark Fall...I love those kinds of games.

I like adventure games quite a bit. I used to hate them, but within the past few months I've bought both Longest Journey games, both Syberias, and both Still Lifes, Sanitarium, Indigo Prophecy, and Machinarium, and want many more. 8)

Yaaaaaaay! I know, right?? They're quite wonderful. I played the Syberias when I was ten and they mystified me so much. I played TLJ/DF this year and I only wish I had done so sooner! I've been meaning to check out Gabriel Knight and Broken Sword. I don't think I'll ever stop playing them!

I love adventure games. I've played all the old King's Quests and Space Quests. I've also played all the the games in the Myst franchise.

I love these when you have to solve puzzles.. I hate them when you have to just keep clicking everywhere or try everything because they don't seem to follow good logic.

I loved the Myst series. The Gabriel Knight games looked cool, but I couldn't really get into them. I played something called Phantasmagoria a looong time ago that kinda freaked me out.

I love adventure games, though I've not played many. I've played Broken Sword, Full Throttle, The Dig, Beneath A Steel Sky, and The Longest Journey.

I also played Myst to completion, but hated it. The underground tram maze especially was painfully frustrating.
