Some one has to still play plyaystation one games, I know i do!
Please let me know!
Aslo I think ps1 games are still some of the best... better gamplay back then...
now it seems no one plays games that don't have up to date graphics...
Very sad to knowing those wonderful old games haven't got the attention they deserve.
Any one for a little Twisted metal 3 or 4? or maybe Hotwheels turbo racing?
Want to drive A school bus With Explosives? then play Vigilante 8
Or play some Crash bandicoot ps1 games for lots of fun!

Play PS1, PS2, N64, and other old systems. Love them as much as new games. Actually I plan to not buy any more systems after this gen.

Yes. In fact, I'm playing Vagrant Story currently.

...And harvest Moon: Animal Parade, but that doesn't count.

I really like "Mega Man 8" for PS1. And also Mega Man X4, X5, and X6.

Silent Bomber for the PS1 is one of my favorite overall games. Musashi is silly but nice too.

I am a huge RPG fan, and the graphics don't bother me too much; however, it does bother me a little. In my head, if I make myself replay them on my PSP I am more forgiving for the graphics; not sure why that is...

Not anymore, but I did buy a Playstation 1 in 2009 for nostalgia value.

I download Playstation classics off the PSN and I do have a hard copy of the Final Fantasy Anthology. I'm currently playing Xenogears, actually. :D

Very comforting to hear that i'm not the only one who appreciates the older games.

back then everthing foucused on gamplay... made games more fun...

nothing wrong with the newer gaming consoles... I use ps2 to play ps1 games... and it really does work.
I wish i had the original gaming console for ps1 but so long as they work on my ps2 i'm good.

I do want to know what your thoughts on the ps1 versions of twisted metal..
even if you don't play it... what do you think of it? it is currently what i play most but that could change at any time.

^I think the ps2 has the ps1 hardware inside it; so it plays it just as well as a ps1 does. So no need to lament the fact you have a ps2 only.

I never liked the Twisted Metal games, I was all for Mario Kart battle-mode!

Is mario kart anything like these crashbandicoot racing games?

crash team racing ps1
crash nitro racing ps2
crash tag team racing ps2

aslo i think MySims racing fits that categorey of go kart racing.
but it is a nintendo ds game... i have this game... it seems to have a soft nature about it.

i never had a chance to play mario kart but i'm sure these games are close enought...right?

I don't have any working ps1 crash bandiccot games but i used to... I have a copy of crash warped but it does not work.
if any one played or saw the most recent ps2 crash games (supposedly the last) do you get a feeling the gameplay sufffered somhow?

I only remember playing Spyro on the PS1. Of course, my PS2 is well worn (because of my Ratchet and Clank addiction ). I also played a few movie based games on the PS2, like Cars. I also have Sly Cooper and Jak and Daxter.

That's it for me. :)

^I just got Ratchet Deadlocked a month ago and while I like Up Your Arsenal better it's still pretty good.

As for PS1 games I started Suikoden 2 over recently. I'm also playing Touki Denshou: Angel Eyes (Tecmo's first fighting game before Dead or Alive) and other various games like Mad Stalker: Full Metal Force and Hot-Blooded Family.

I play a lot of imports.
