I used to have a DS... A great game I can recommend to you right away would be Yoshi's Island. Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is excellent, as well. The newest games are pretty dumb, from what I have seen on television. Kirby games are really good, so you might want to look around for some of those... I can't think of many more, since it's about 2:30 in the morning here...

Trauma Center, Ninjatown, Final Fantasy Tactics A2, and FFCC Ring of Fates are all pretty good games.

(PS: Nice avatar, poster 2.)

Is Phoenix Wright a detective game? I remember someone at work recommending it. Why is it none of the games people mention are even sold in stores? What I mean is the only thing the local stores carry are the stupid Animal Crossing or Dog/Cat games made for girls or else the Brain Games puzzlers or else movie games? I have yet to find a martial arts game for DS even though I know they make them.

I don't know exactly how "martial arts" you mean, but as for ninja games in general, there's Ninja Gaiden, which is different but still pretty good (and nowhere near as frustrating as the NES games)...there's a few others I can think of, but none of them are in stores anymore =/ Ninja Cop (Ninja Five-O) for GBA is fantastic, but I could never ever find it in stores anywhere, not even right when it came out >_<

I'm not sure if you like the Mario Bros. games but New Super Mario Bros is awesome!

I don't know any good Martial Arts style fighting games, however I do know some other good games:

If you like RPGs, might I recommend Rune Factory, and likely Rune Factory 2. I haven't played Rune Factory 2 yet, but if it's anything like the previous . . .

Also, as a note Harvest Moon DS is better than Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness, so save yourself some money.

Mario Kart DS is very good. As is New Super Mario Bros.

I'm looking forward to getting Chrono Trigger when I can afford it.

There are too many other ones to count, but you get the idea.

Why can't they make something like TaeKwonDo Butt Kicker or something like that? Why must it always be Ninjas? Even Judo Death Strangler would be interesting.

I still want to know if Chicken ShootOut is worth the money? Anyone know???

I buy games that interest me and if I don't like the game, trade it in at Gamestop or at any store that takes used DS games. Or sell it on ebay.

Hmm...there's Mortal Kombat Trilogy, if you're into that sort of thing.

What about the F-24 Stealth Fighter or Star Wars Alliance games? Are those fun?

I'm sad Rare was bought by Microsoft. They won't make any Banjo-Kazooie games on the Wii or DS... Banjo Kazooie on the N64 was so fun...
I don't have an xbox so I can't play the newest game.

I like the mario games. kirby superstar ultra is very fun. Pokemon is a classic, I have to every one of the series.
