Anyone else getting this ? It comes out September 27th. I love the series, like a Harvest Moon RPG with love, crafting of weapons, leveling, traveling.. I can't wait !

I got it the day it was released. I love this series, and have bought all but the second one (which I've yet to).

If anyone wants any help starting out, feel free to ask me. I'll try to answer your questions to the best of my abilities without spoiling anything.

Finally started playing this yesterday (only a couple months late!). Really good game. This is the first of the RF's I have played. I was quite lost and have to admit I was getting mad, but once I figured out crafting, taming, and farming the game is really fun. Right now just enjoying fishing. I seem to be stuck on how to progress the story, but I figure if I just keep up with my relationships and tasks the next will open up. If any of that sounds fun and you are on the fence I'd get it! I am surprised I like it this much as I usually don't go for that type of thing, but the art style piqued my interest so I got it and am glad I did.

I've actually played the other Rune Factory games, and Tides of Destiny strays from the original Harvest Moon formula the most.
So, I actually like the others more. Actually being able to farm the land myself was one of the things I liked the most about it.
It's just that the newer games seem to be focusing less and less on actually plowing land, planting seeds, watering, harvesting, etc.
(I like Rune Factory a lot more than Harvest Moon though, because of the more realistic settings and characters, but mostly for the combat, leveling and dungeon aspects.)
