I'm all for playing a game with an autistic main character that you have to protect during the zombie apocalypse. S**t's about to get scary. Maybe. Hopefully it's gonna be good.

Oh I thought this was delayed for some reason. I haven't kept track with the game development.

I lost a lot of interest when I found out she has super powers. Really ruined my image of what the game might be like. A lot of the appeal is gone.

Oh, I'll probably still get it though. All the recent Siren topics have fostered a craving for survival horror.

I bought Amy. It's survival horror, all right. You die quick, your weapons can break after being used a certain number of times, and I find myself running from enemies a lot. However, I'm gonna stop playing now and wait until nighttime to play it more.

I had a look for it earlier and could not find it in the psn store. I hope it has a compelling atmosphere and story/characters.

That's because it's not out yet on PSN. It's only out on Xbox Live Arcade. It'll be available on PSN on the 17th. The game has a spooky atmosphere, and the story makes you want to keep playing in hopes that you'll learn more about Lana and Amy's relationship.

No, it's up now. Missed it by an hour or so. Downloading right now. Will have a go in the morning.

Well I made a start on the game. No idea what's really going on just yet. There's weird cultist/zombie things, a mysterious infection and apparently some other stuff going on in the city (no idea what yet but it's hinted at).

At the moment it's very hard to see what's going on. What I mean is the levels are very dark and it's during the day so I can basically see my whole room reflected in the screen :( May have to play it at night or something. Main concern at the moment is that the camera is awful. They really needed an option to invert the x-axis.

It's really annoying that you have to basically hold Amy's hand through every step of the game. She keeps running off, otherwise. What the hell is she thinking.

I just chalk up Amy's wandering around to her being autistic. I'll admit, though, that the most tense moments are when you're working on a puzzle, and then Amy goes wandering off. For all you know, she could wander off to where a bunch of zombies are. Even if you tell Amy to stay put, she won't stay put indefinitely - she'll start rocking after a bit, then wander off. Also, Lana's health is on her back. Reminds me of Dead Space.

I guess... I have no idea if it's an accurate portrayal of an autistic child or not. I have noticed little announcements during the load screen that tell you she'll wander off if you leave her for too long, or she'll panic and run away if you leave her in a hiding spot for too long. Personally I haven't been in any situation long enough for this to be a problem. The puzzles are fairly straight forward.

How is everyone else going with the game so far? I've noticed it's been getting negative reviews all over the internet. I have to say I agree with them. This is not a good game at all. I don't mind playing it but the flaws are obvious. The one thing I was hoping for was an engaging story. I've completed 3 out of the 5 (maybe 6?) chapters and nothing's happened. All I know is we have to get Amy to the hospital! But oh s**t there's soldiers and zombies, watch out.

I only recently found out about this game. I was dissappointed to find out it's only available for download, but at least it shows that there's still a market out there for classic survival horror games. I was beginning to think Siren Blood Curse/Siren New Translation was going to be the last true scary game.

You should give it a go. The controls and overall game design are basically s**t. Most of the reviews I've seen give the game about a 2/10. On the other hand if you can look past the controls and have the patience to deal with some of the stupid design decisions you may end up liking it. I'm currently halfway through chapter 5 (of 6) in some sort of sewer/labyrinth place. It looks really dangerous so I'm saving it for tomorrow. Chapter 5 really steps up the difficulty by changing the rules of the game and handing out sparse, random checkpoints. I've heard this is where most people really get fed up with the game (if they even make it that far).

You should give it a go. It doesn't cost much and you may find something you like about it.
