I'm incredibly easy to amuse when playing games, so I always laugh when enemies stop searching for me in Elder Scrolls or Fallout games after I shoot them in the head while sneaking. Just the idea of someone giving up on finding their assailant makes me very amused.
Heh, I enjoy that one too, especially in New Vegas. My favorite is getting both the 'kill Motor Runner' and 'deliver drugs to Motor Runner' quests at the same time, walking into the fiend base, delivering the drugs, and then quietly shooting Motor Runner in the head from behind a pillar with a silenced weapon. If you do it right, you can talk to fiends in the base and have them say "did you hear, someone killed Motor Runner!", even if they virtually saw you do it.
There's also a point in the Gomorrah casino quest line where you can discover that a strange character that talks kinda like Flanders on the Simpsons is really a sadistic serial killer, and then blackmail him with the evidence. The funny part to me is that he'll make some threatening comments about finding you later, and then
turn his back on you and slowly walk away... Needless to say, I take his money, shoot him in the back of the head, and drop the body down a handy elevator shaft.
Sneaking multiple bricks of C4 into Ceasar's tent, packing his throne with them, and then literally blowing him out of the game has its charms as well.
Man, New Vegas had a lot of vigilante fun to be had, now that I really think about it.
