I work at EBGames, at the moment I do have to "Purchase" the game, but I just have to make sure I bring it back, return it, and re-buy it within 7 days till I finish the game. Once the game is finished it gets returned, I either get my cash back, or I choose a different game to play for a few weeks : D

I used to play Runescape, but I stopped. MMOs are just time and money drainers, I need games that either more open (Sandboces like Pg or Minecraft) or more narrow (Simpler single player games.

What do you mean by style? Genera? 3D? What?
And nothing that makes you happy is a waist of time.

I already implied what I meant. There is no real objectives except to get better, and completely tasks doesn't have the same reward feel as it does in more structured, smaller games. They also aren't open enough to be enjoyed like a sandbox. Also most of them tend tobe RPGs, and I prefer more actiony games.

Understandable. You would probably like the Fallout games then.
