Searching for video game soundtracks online over the past decade has inevitably brought me to find fan remixes of which, while can sometimes be terribly awful, can also be quite good or sometimes even better than the original, even if they move away a bit from the sort of characteristics that defined them. A website by the name of OCremix.net seems to have a lot, though I've found a bunch more on youtube from plenty of different users as of late. Some of them even mix two to three different songs from completely different games in very interesting ways.
So what are your favorites, if you've found any you've liked? Doesn't have to be any sort of specific type. Could be a rearrangement, or a metal version or instrumental or 8-bit or whatever else; I've found a lot of really original ways people seem to do things. Not because it's particularly amazing(though it sounds spot on from what I can tell), but more so because to me the accordion looks like it's one of the most confusing and complex instruments ever. But then again I know next to nothing about playing music.
