Sonic and SEGA All Stars Racing Sequel is Confirmed <--It's a Link

Loved the first game and put almost 100 hours into it.

Anyone played the original game and liked it enough to buy the sequel?

I rented the PS3 version from Gamefly a while back, and I played through the main Grand Prix part of it. It's the best kart racing game on PS3 since the system obviously doesn't have Mario Kart. By the way Eggman is my favorite character, and I won a few online races with him.

Sounds cool. I've never been able to get into the first one, so this might be exciting.

As for which characters I want to see:

SEGA
1. ToeJam and Earl
2. Any SEGA/Treasure character
3. Scooter (Alien Storm)
4. Blaze (Sonic the Hedgehog)
5. Vectorman

Third-Party
1. Shantae (WayForward worked on Thor DS and Aliens: Infestation, and both of those were SEGA publications. Why not?)
2. Toro and/or Kuro (Same deal with Street Fighter X Tekken on PS3.)
3. Mario (Wii U/3DS exclusive, much? But I don't think this is realistic at all due to the Olympics crossovers.)
4. Snake (This would require Konami's approval, but Sonic was with him in SSBB....)
5. Mii (See Mario. A lot more realistic, though, since Miis may not fight at all in Smash.)

I doubt thrid parties are getting into this game other then Banjo/Kazooie from the predecessor.

Vectorman is the third most requested behind NiGHTS and Ristar, so I doubt they'll omit him.

Yeah, it's the best Mascot Kart Racer on Non-Nintendo platforms but the game sold well on the Wii (Over a million), so maybe they may omit the PS3/360 versions.
