Hey,

I recently bought Battlefield 3, It's pretty fun and i'm a good team player but everyone is a lone wolf on there. I have 1 friend but he would much rather play with his platoon then hang out with me. Was wondering if anyone on here played Battlefield 3 and is possibly as alone as I am haha. I have no one in this game and it's kind of upsetting considering I paid for this :/ I actually try to talk to people sometimes but no one wants to talk I guess. They would rather just call me a noob and magically manage to kill me in 1 shot.

That's one of the things I find absolutely infuriating about this game. I run around, try to do my thing, I fail horribly, ANYONE else in the game does the exact thing I do, they pull it off lol. It's not lag, I have a good computer, It just doesn't work for me :/

Example:
There is a guy camping in the corner of a building with broken windows.

Scenario 1:
I rush in, guns blazing, Unload seemingly a whole clip on the guy (seems to hit everything around him), and die horribly.

Scenario 2:
I peek around and burst/single shot him, Somehow he has super human reflexes and is able to instantly 1/2 hit kill me with most likely a head shot.

Scenario 3:
Throw some sort of explosive in there and watch it blow up but he's still alive, comes out and whoops my ass with either his knife or those superhuman reflexes I mentioned before and precision of a marine sniper xD

If anyone is willing to show me the ropes I would really appreciate it as I find it hard to enjoy my game when I die literally like 20 times without achieving anything or even being able to capture anything or help team mates.

If you want to hang out in game my origin/battlelog username is Tsproggy

I'd happily have joined you, but I have BF3 on Xbox.

Darn :( I have it on PC. If only they where cross compatible >.<. On the plus side the lack of cross compatibility means you play with less hackers :D

I do play sometimes but when I feel like it. I play as a medic and I do incredibly suck at this game. I can't aim and shoot well. But I spent an hour on a Conquest Large infantry only map where it was a stalemate on the metro and just heal/rez people for points. Lol. Apparently it's all about spamming grenades and rockets on that map. Oh and spraying bullets everywhere. Also origin is having a 50% off sale it seems. I got BF3 for free anyways from Origin.

Hey i'll play with you. My callsign is Vomelche in the game. I prefer hardcore mode, u can kill people faster.

If u die a lot i would recommend playing defensive and camping in bushes and cover around the flag. Dont come out unless u know where the enemy is and he is alone. If the flag is overrun wait for everyone to leave and recap it :). This worked for me when i was just starting out, i got first place from all the flag points.

Also u need a pretty good computr for star wars, not to lag in pvp

I recommend you set up a Battlelog if you haven't already and join a platoon.

I have a battlelog, I thought I said my battlelog/battlefield 3 name but maybe not :/ I guess I could look at platoons but I do badly at clans and stuff because it's like i'm the outsider trying to fit into a cliche.. Which usually does badly haha.

Cool, maybe we can get enough for an aspie squad and own it up.

Yeah me too, you were awesome medic. Somehow we got some decent people in our squad too and we all dominated the scoreboard.

Battlefield 3, the first-person shooter game actually speaks of adventure. This video game is a complete thrill package which brings the true experience of battle ground. A direct sequel to 2005’s Battlefield 2, Battlefield 3 grabs much attention.

I got this on XBox when looking for a new multiplayer to try. I had similar expieriences dumping a clip into someone and them turning around and killing me. I had wondered if I have a lag issue, but maybe so many Veterans have armor on and more powerful guns?

I also blew money on the Limited Edition. I recommend trying Armored Kill. At least you can mess with some vehicles, though it's awkward learning to fly Jets and Helicopters. I wish there was an open Practice/Tutorial map to learn that on. I frequently see people get into helicopters and crash.
