I feel as if they just rushed through this one. I liked the awesome cutscenes in the 2nd Ultimate Ninja storm, why did they take it out? For anime cutscenes? The game itself looks pretty close to an anime anyways, I think the graphics are better than the anime cutscenes actually. But besides that, I think the online mode improved a lot, but I'm still pretty darn hurt that they reduced the story mode to a slideshow......
This is actually my favorite fighting series of all time, and I'm not even a fan of Naruto. I haven't played a lot of fighting games, it's just this one in particular feels as if there is more strategy involved than most fighting games I've played.

Anyways just wanted to hear your opinion on this game.

While I understand your unhappiness of the slideshow, this is actually pretty traditional from most anime fighting games I've played. Such with the early Ultimate Ninja games on PS2, as with DBZ Budokai 3.

The developers expect you to know about the story if you are a fan of the series, so they put little effort. They just focus on the fighting mechanics rather than the story, which works well with the fans, as well as the people who just bought the game because they love fighting games.

If you want to know the story, why not just watch the 300+ episodes on Hulu for free?

I don't really care about graphics when I play games, but this is one darn good looking game. I mean, just watching it, it looks okay, but there is something about this game combining with the story that watching the anime doesn't really give me.
Well that's just my opinion :V
