Was anyone else disappointed with Uncharted 3?

I actually do like the Uncharted games, I have all three for the PS3. But I think Uncharted 3 is my least favorite in the series. I mean technically it's a great game story and gameplay wise, but I feel like us gamers who perfer singleplayer were ripped off. The game has NO bonus content for completing the game in singleplayer mode like the first two games did. There's no unlockable weapons, no character skins (except for in multiplayer mode), no game tweaks, no concept art, there's not even a cutscene gallery that lets you view story cutscenes. It feels like all the good stuff was reserved for multiplayer, and that's a bad thing to do to the game in my opinion because once the game's online connections are shut off there will be no more multiplayer and that will make the extra co-op characters virtually useless.
Some people have said that gamers are just being spoiled for wanting rewards for beating the game since in the old days video games had no rewards other than scores, but I think that's silly. Having unlockable rewards in a video game is what keeps you wanting to beat the game over and over again. Even if it's a reward you're not going to use it feels nice to know that you accomplished getting it. Plus to be frank I hate playing games online with other people and perfer to play them alone or in split-screen mode with my friends. Having a game that forces you to play online feels like a cheap way to attract gamers. I really hope Naughty Dog doesn't put forced multiplayer in any other Uncharted games and that they will start adding rewards for the singleplayer mode again.
I enjoyed Uncharted 3.
I recently bought the PS3 bundle that came with UC3. I'd never played a UC game before, or any game like it, or many console games in general. I also bought UC+UC2 although I haven't fired them up yet (a bunch of games have come out lately).
I thought UC3 was fun, although I find the console controls frustrating after using a mouse to aim for so long on the PC.. I think the joysticks are simply inaccurate, not enough fine control.. to be fair the enemies do seem to stand around more than in PC games to help compensate..
I enjoyed UC3's varying action, sometimes platforming, sometimes puzzling, sometimes just looking at stuff, sometimes shooting things. The animations are very well done, very natural-looking (as natural as they can be for a guy as amazingly acrobatic as Mr. Drake). I also enjoyed the storyline weaved in there, with Sully (sp?) and the reporter who he apparently did stuff with in UC and/or UC2 and the British guy and Claudia Black.
I enjoyed the levels too, particularly the whole sea section with the intensifying storm and the upside-down yacht.. and some of the puzzles were clever..
One thing that annoyed me were the areas that suddenly became vastly harder than anything before, like the sandstorm snipers+machine gunners, and the very last section with the hallucinatory demons, and the yacht, although I figured that one out easily enough.. but again, if I had the use of a mouse, those areas would have all been pretty easy.. I'm just not yet used to this wacky joystick aiming thing.
[this is sort of spoilerish] I found the ending of UC3 to be a downer, your whole quest was basically a waste of time as far as getting treasure or ancient knowledge.. but it was still fun along the way.
Overall I'd give the game 9.5/10.. I'll try UC and UC2 and see what I think after.. from what I've read UC2 seems to be the one people like the most.
As far as multiplayer, I haven't tried it.. I doubt I'll ever feel truly comfortable with the joystick as a way of aiming in FPSs.. I just don't think joysticks were made for that type of thing
I thought the game was fun, though very repetitive. There was not much variation in the gameplay, and it didn't really help that the game followed the formula paved by the previous two to a tee. The game has some excellent set pieces, but outside of those all that's left is the gunplay which is mostly unsatisfying. The platforming and stealth of prior games seems to have been diminished in emphasis. The difficulty was ridiculous at times too.
