IMO the XBOX360 can't even hold a candle. Me and my buddies were big vs. players on Golden Eye, then we got into the fun of the extra weapons and simulants in PD - that's how we spent many nights back around 1999/2000, toking or drinking after work and getting all cut throat on that. As for the new PD, yeah, much better graphics but I don't really like it as much; can't explain why unless its the fact that just for as good as the first game was in its time they should have put their due diligence into making it work and actually be an equal.

Perfect Dark was nothing compared to Goldeneye, but it was a fun game none the less.

Yes, I play it. I was told by a few that Perfect Dark Zero was not as good as the original PD. Would you like to play multiplayer using Project 64 k?

I can't get team colors to work on P64, so team games are are pain, I wonder if they have a video codec that fixes this at all.

Have you updated your video card drivers to the latest? Probably the only way to know if a video codec will fix it is to try them and see.

N64 Perfect Dark back in 1999/2000 was a total "blast"

We also had a group of people that would always play it. Those were some good times. Same went with Goldeneye prior. This is an old subject, but nonetheless is one worthy of consideration. Because Perfect Dark is, and always will be an awesome game. Things back then.... They were so different. One for nostalgia.

Perfect Dark Zero was ok. It was not as good as the classic N64 Perfect Dark as I see it.

First Perfect Dark was amazing, and the multiplayer was really fun. I remember the level with the plateaus and a big gap in the middle. And the rocket launcher which you can guide and slow down.. I liked the alien part too.

I got through Perfect Dark on the Nintendo 64 back when it was new. It was okay, but I didn't like how the levels had no maps or pointers that would show where to go. The graphics were just average for N64 standards too.

Got Perfect Dark and Goldeneye on my laptop with a usb n64 controller via Project 64 1.7

Best FPS's ever made, although perfect dark zero was a huge letdown. :!:

Actually, Goldeneye had poor graphics, but Perfect Dark was one of the best looking and performing games of that console generation.
Meet me on Call of Duty if you want bragging rights ;)

Try "Goldeneye Reloaded" by Activision. It's a remake of the Nintendo 64 game with graphics and gameplay mechanics very similar to COD.

I liked it better cause there is a pointer you follow that shows where the next mission objective is like in COD. It also has much better graphics obviously. The main thing I didn't like about Goldeneye and Perfect Dark on N64 was always trying to figure out where to go next which would get frustrating.

The PS3 version of "Goldeneye Reloaded" is superior with HD and better controls. I like the Nintendo Wii a lot too by the way though.
