I like this one as well, but SOM was way better in my opinion. While limited in comparison it’s still a very fun game.
Here is what can be basically considered, more or less the caster of the game (for damage):

I played this once at an arcade we use to have at a put-put golf course. "Elf" was my favorite, this was a good game. I replayed it years later when I finally got a mame emulator to work, along with Cadillac and Dinosaurs. Good times.

The elf was a good character. It would seem that mini-golf can be in a way, synonymous with arcades. Of course, there are many varieties but I also experienced a similar arcade setup out here way back.
You are the only person I ever knew that ever mentioned Cadillacs and Dinosaurs.
I must say I'm a bit surprised. That's very interesting because it would seem that most people would not even know such a game exists. I loved playing that game. It was so bizarre. Mainly because you have to deal with these bad guys that looked like a cross between the 80's punk scene, with a slight hint of panama jack, add some 'savage land' (Marvel reference) to it, and there you have it.... I found the strange blend of weapons to be amusing. The mix of bladed weapons was interesting. There was also a variety of guns; shotguns, semi and full auto sub-machine guns, and assault rifles. I especially liked running down the savage-land style punkers with a classic Cadillac. The feeling was incredible, and unique. Best of all; all of this madness is going on in the presence of many varieties of crazed dinosaurs. I enjoyed cataloging them as I played the game the first time through.
