Anyone else in this forum that needs to play this game?

I'm sorry for creating a whole new thread for this, but I need to have a geeky nerd moment of my own. I only recently found Oblivion and I've been playing it for about 6 weeks straight now and it's so awesome. And when I heard about Skyrim, it's official release date is 11/11/11, I nearly died on the spot. I keep reading articles and looking at youtube videos and I can't keep still. Damn I want to play this game. Now. :D :bounce:

I think my computer will meet with the minimal system requirements that's needed. I can't wait.

Oh yeah, found the full version of the Theme song.

I command you mere mortals in here to listen to this.

Can't wait for this. This is the game I've been waiting for this year.

I'll be getting it on the 10th

Since it runs on 360 and PS3, if you built your puter 4 years ago and updated to a somewhat new gfx card, you'll be able to run it. I think even a "Oblivion computer" will be able to run it...

And yes, i'm looking forward to it. Going to pick out new parts for my new gamesbox this week :)

I saw this on tv without any real warning, did not realise what it was until about 40 seconds in.

So looking forward to playing Skyrim.

I was kinda worried I wouldn't have enough money for it what with revelations coming out four days later but I'll make sure I have enough. It would simply be unacceptable for anyone to wait until a couple days after the release date :P

Was thinking of starting a thread on Skyrim, but I'm obsessing so much here at home I thought twice about it. I've had the collectors edition on pre-order for more than three weeks, watched all the official trailers, read all the reviews/previews I could find, and have watched all the leaked footage that hasn't been scrubed by the Bethesda lawyers. There is one site that has (at the time of this writing) 15 clips of his play on a 360 version, each running around 23-28 min.s. Which means, lucky me, that now I've got the song that comes up when you get into a dragonfight running through my head constantly.

I will be playing this game on the pc and downloading the mod kit from Bethesda as soon as it's posted, as I did with Oblivion. I can't wait until I've once again gotten to the point where I'm designing my own castles and quests again. And of course there will be the inevitable DLCs. I will admit that my mind started to race a bit when I saw the life sized Dovakiin plastic statue they are sending out to some of the retail outlets. Hmmmm.....I wonder which one of the livingroom chairs I could get rid of to make some room? 8) Yeah.....set it up over there....get some paints to touch it up some....

Anyway, I'll be at the Game Stop at 10PM to have them process my pre-order to a sales reciept, then wait at the Shari's next door for the clock to finish torturing me. I'm predicting at least 800 hours on the game and that much or more on the moding tools, so forget me for about three years or so.

My brother asked if I was getting the new Call of Duty and I said "no I'm getting Skyrim instead", and he had never heard of it! "Who?" he asked. Shame on him.

Definitely getting it on release day. My boyfriend pre-ordered the collector's edition for my birthday. I wanted to get it on PC, but I don't think mine would meet the minimum requirements, so I'm getting it on 360 instead.

I'm glad it's coming out on Friday, I just so happen to have 4 days off due to scheduling so I got 4 days to dedicate to Skyrim awesomeness.

I have the game now, and am playing it. Sometimes it is so good living in Australia. I actually saw a child in the game, imagine that.

I'll grab it tomorrow for sure. I will also try to buy some grass to maximize the experience, it's been a while but I think it's as good an excuse to get high as could possibly exist.

I've been waiting for this game for what seems like forever.
