... apart from me, that is. It's the most beautiful thing an iPad's done to me yet.

I was wondering if there were any iOS gamers here at all.

I do alot of gaming on my iPad..... got some 270 games on there, some basic things like Angry Birds, and some hyper-difficult stuff like danmaku shmups..... though my computer remains my main gaming thing.

I've heard of this "Horn", but I really havent seen much about it other than people praising it's graphics. What about the actual gameplay? That's what I'd be interested in hearing about.

Horn's gameplay? Easy, smooth, flexible... as long as you don't react badly to getting digitally involved (swiping madly) in the battles, they're a lot of fun. The world's three dimensional, and swiping moves your point of view. Tapping on the ground makes you go there. There's a ranged weapon and a variety of improveable melee weapons. No visible grading or levels but I think opponents take their strength indication from your weapon strength. Amulets enhance various skills and attributes. The usual stuff. It plays well, in a slash and bash sort of way.

Criticisms: having to replay half a level after a misfortune to get back to where you were can be irritating, and there are a few puzzles that are less than obvious. There are video playthrough's on the web for them now though.
