Tomorrow is a big day, talents are all changing, can't wait to get a taste of the new World of Warcraft features.

Anyone else on Kargath or Proudmoore?

After playing Guild Wars 2 I am more excited for the 5.04 changes. I'm the problem, aren't I, enabling the evil company Blizzard with my money

SO ready for the warlock changes, I LOVED demonology on the beta and pet battles are great. Its going to feel good maining my orc warlock again, with her badass transmog armor.

I'm mostly sad about losing my Stampede and half of my Feral Swiftness (my main is a kitty). But I suppose there will be good things about the changes too.

I disenchanted my relic last night - bittersweet.

We should all try to get a group of aspies to for a raiding group on a server... we would probably be the most dedicated to raiding schedules.

But you get to turn into a sweet stag that I can ride on

Cross-Realm Zones

In some zones, players are now able to form a group with other players from a select pool of realms.
When a player is in a zone that is set as a "cross-realm zone", in addition to seeing other players from their native realm, they'll also seamlessly see (and be able to play with) players from other realms.
Players will always be able to group and quest as they normally would with players from their native realm.
This functionality will be enabled for a limited number of realms at first, and will be granted to additional realms as we near the release of Mists of Pandaria.


Cross realm ganking. mists is the best expansion ! This is gonna be awesome!

I'm patching right now, very excited to main my warlock again on live and pet battles, yay!!

Im just happy to have all my mounts back. I had one main for about 2 years, and he had ALOT of work put on him. Then I got tired of the server, moved him to another, that server got boring, so just created a new one with a different group of people on a different server. That main now has had alot of work put on it, but was still missing some of the bigger accomplishments of my first main (Loremaster, Mounts, Diplomat, Legendary weapons x 2, etc etc). Now I get credit for all of those on all my toons XD. Much better.

I just did LFR in my mediocre geared warlock and wow, demo is so fun now, I was having BC levels of fun. All the new glyphs locks get are pretty damn cool, I got the imp swarm one and water walking . I haven't tried affliction or pvped any yet, seems kinda like a bad idea getting caught up with season gear this late in the expansion.

Now I've got to go farm my phoenix hatchling pet, I've had two white hawkstriders drop already .

I've been maining a Warlock for 7 years now and, I just can't seem to get into the new changes. It might just be the whole Aspie "Change is Bad" thing. It's good that your liking it though.

Really? I admit I've only tried demo since the revisions but I'm surprised at how easy it feels, I just use EventHorizon to track the dots I still use.

As demo I just do this: put up CoE (if no one is offering the buff), corruption, jump into demon form and put up doom, revert back and use shadow bolt for filler and soul fire when the one buff procs. Sometimes, depending on the fight, I save my soul fire buff (forgot the name, is it molten core?) for meta if the bosses hp is low enough for some nice burst combined with my trinket and imp swarm. You mainly want to keep up corruption and doom at all times and aoe with immolation aura. Oh, keep using hand of guldan off cooldown to generate more demonic fury.

Build wise I went with grimoire of supremacy with the wraith guard as my pet so I can't comment if you're doing a sacrifice build. I don't use much of my demonic fury unless I get a bunch of lucky procs and there's a burn phase (for boss fights, trash I just tab dot and aoe). I'm not doing uber hard competitive content but its nice doing dps comparable to my much better geared (and more boring) arcane mage.

Only thing that really bothers me is that sac seems to be the way to go for all warlock builds unless your demo and then you just use wraithguard, I really liked the other pets and was hoping they would be just as viable for pve, I haven't tried pvp yet but I'm excited to have shadow fury without being specced as destro. The felguard glyph makes me we want to get two gurthalaks now, it works on the wraithguard and he(it?) randomly equips two-two handed weapons from your inventory.


Also, despite enjoying warlock now, LFR is a real hoot (I'm not in a real guild anymore so I'm an LFR scrub now) right now: http://i.imgur.com/vxHlI.jpg. I've had 6 groups in a row wipe on Ultraxion, two wipe on Morchok and another on Blackhorn. I couldn't bring myself to do LFR Deathwing again unless I had drugs or something (just kidding..mostly), I've done him so many times on my mage and its an agonizingly boring fight. I was really hoping we would have some scenarios to play around with but it looks like Theramore isn't til the week before MOP. I'm just farming pets, trying to find stuff to do. I feel kind of bad because GW2 isn't doing as great a job at holding my attention as I thought it would. Its good but man the dungeons suck, which kinda blows for me since I really like pve content.

I'm interested to hear about your problems with the warlock changes, I'm just curious. I admit I've only tried demo, I don't even know what to reforge for right now and its kinda pointless this late into Cata. I think you told me before in another topic but my memory is awful.

Do you main affliction, by any chance?
