Whenever a new MGS is revealed I flip a s**t big time. This one definitely has me excited. And if that screenshot is truly in game, just wow.

How do you feel about MGS going open world?

I'm skeptical until I actually see the footage, although I doubt a MGS game will be anything less than excellent.

Yea I am dying to see the footage. The only MGS games that were bad to me....were the ones not developed by Kojima (MG1-2 on NES, MGS Portable Ops). Although Metal Gear Rising looks to be good simply cause it's from a good developer (Platinum Games).

There are tons of haters of the MGS series though. Who will claim it's nothing more than a bad B movie level of story telling, outdated gameplay, not enough gameplay (too many cutscenes) ect.

But every time a new MGS gets announced it like a monumental moment for me. Gotta be my fav game series ever.

It looks alright. I'd rather Kojima make HD ports of Snatcher and the translated Policenauts on the American PSN.

Pretty excited for it. Haven't been able to play MGS4 without a PS3, and am not interested in Rising anymore after the major overhaul it's gone through, so this will be the first really brand new MGS I'll be getting. MGS3 is my favorite, and Peace Walker was pretty good as well, so I'm interested to see exactly where the story will be going. A bit skeptical about it being open world, but one thing I've liked about these games is how many options there are at your disposal in general, so I think this may only add to it.

After seeing the graphics, great direction and era of the game in the new gameplay trailer I'm stoked! This can't come soon enough

I hope they won't f**k up like in MGS4 though... need more sneaky James Bond stuff and less Ramboing!

I'd like a translated Policenauts but I'd prefer Snatcher not get any special treatment outside of a re-release. The Megadrive version is perfect as is, I wouldn't want to hear the game with new voice actors.
