Who's HAPPY about the new champion for black and white 2??! !!


So yeah. This is the place for me to meet fellow pokemon fans and talk to them....

Unlike a big pokemon forum, at least not everyone here will upset me over it.

Don't remember that when I used to participate in them.
Anyway I hope Black and White 2 is gonna be worth it rather than just adding the 3D and a few changes.
Having said that though I did get most of the games regarding the handheld main series.

Iris is the new Champion and now i'm a fan of her.

I only played Pokemon Red and Blue. Things sure have changed since then...

I have Sapphire, Pearl, Soul Silver, White, Crystal, Mystery Dungeon games......

I've been a bit out of date with the series since Pokemon Emerald. I've got Pokemon Platinum and Soul Silver I've still to play, which I do intend to get round to. It will always have a place in my heart as one of my favourite childhood series. But I think the amount of Pokemon there are now is crazy!

Played them all and been a fan of the series since I was very young! Iris is really cute, though Cynthia will always be my favorite champion. I really loved gen 4 a lot I guess but gen 5 is great too. Sadly my DS and all my pokemon games were stolen so I have to wait til I have money again, which I've been saving for other things. I love how TMs are re-usable in gen 5 but I absolutely hate the online rules and no scaling for 6v6..won't even be in B/W2 so I either have to grind, grind, grind or cheat and dupe rare candies for a full team. Still, gen 5 is great and I'm excited for BW2 because of the move tutors and little improvements, but it strikes me as weird that challenge/assist mode require you to beat the game first. Also the daycare isn't available til after the E4 and most of my gametime is spent doing breeding. Ugh.

Only problem I have with the series is that there are so many 'mons now and a lot of great ones are made redundant. I've always liked ones like Hypno and Venomoth too but at least the latter has quiver dance now..too bad about Beedrill though.

Has anyone read any of the Pokemon Adventure graphic novels? They are actually really, really good.

I kind of agree. The original 150 will always be my favorite but I love a ton of the new designs and always welcome the new games. I love some of the new evos, like Kingdra, Steelix and Weavile but hate others like Rhyperior (wtf it looks ret*d) and Dusknoir (Dusclops are so cool..). Magmortar is kind of goofy looking but I like Electivire. My biggest problem now is that a lot of my favorites, like Lapras and Exeggutor are kind of redundant and pointless to use since so many other 'mons exist now. I feel like it was a bit easier to balance during the GSC and RSE days. Now the power creep is getting a tad excessive. It really doesn't matter too much unless you do a lot of serious online battling, which I never did.

Pokemon Adventure graphic novels? Ah, if there's a character named Red and he has a Poliwhirl then yes I have NeueZiel, but only at the end of RBY story. Did not go into GSC.
Novels are pretty easy to find online anyway if and when needed.

They have pokemon adventures manga at the mall where I live.

Just...I've been too sick to go lately.

And sometimes I just don't get enouth sleep cuz of my aspie issues so that makes it kind of hard...

Yes that's it. I heard GSC arc was good too but just went through all of RBY. Really good stuff. Koga was such a badass as was Green and Blue.

Big fan too, I plan to get Black 2 when it gets out. Wait Iris will be a Champion, I definitely dig that.

I also want to check out that new crossover game that released with feudal Japan, a video game show I trust recently said that it was good.

Used to love it. Started with Yellow, and later played Gold. After that, it's been a bit downhill for me; didn't enjoy Sapphire at all. Played only a bit of Platinum I think it was and decided to sell it the second day I had it. That said, I have liked the remakes - especially Soul Silver. Not sure if I like how Black/White look. Been watching Lucahjin's Let's Play of White on youtube.

I'm fairly excited about it Pokemon Black/White 2. I did played pokemon black when it came out, and I enjoyed playing it from start to end. My favorite pokemon by the way is Bronzong.

Man, when I was 7-11 it was the sh!t!! !

I loved Red, Gold/Silver, Ruby, LeafGreen, Emerald, Diamond, and Platinum(Wasn't as good as the previous ones though)

Don't play it anymore but it was good times.


Same goes for the manga. Got through GSC arc.
