New game that exceeds Guitar Hero and Rock Band

The game is called Rocksmith, being made for PC/Mac, PS3 and X360.
This actually could be an amazing experience because you can PLUG YOUR GUITAR INTO THE CONSOLE!
May be a fun experience for all kinds of guitarists... from the beginners to the experts.
You don't just play songs either, there are a few other features like playing mini-games using your guitar and an Amp mode where your console is an Amplifier.
Personally if it's as good as the reception is going, this may become a trend. I am very interested and intrigued by how this is going to be possible very soon.

I already play guitar, I like RB/GH because it lets me pretend I can drum B)

...and the multiplayer was a lot of fun while it lasted.

Wow, that sounds quite innovative! As you might be able to gather from my username, I do in fact play guitar and need it to live. I very much disliked the Guitar Hero craze because the guitar controllers reminded me of a kid toy designed for a 3 year old lol

Sounds really interesting, i have been dreaming about this since Guitar Hero came out.
