What is your alignment?

Chaotic Good probably resonates with me the most. A rebel with a conscious. Any RPG I'm playing, I always like to pretend my dude is the mysterious outsider who you may not be able to read, but in his heart, he's all about goodness. He wont tell you this, but he'd die so save another. He's suspicious of everyone's motivations, the good guys and the bad guys, doesn't give away too much of himself, but still has a clear sense of good and evil....

He helps the little old lady, but it's always begrudgingly, he struggles between selfishness and selflessness, and will do good actions even when he may not feel like it.

In a lot of RPG's, I'll have my guy be pretty strict with justice, and he'll kill you over incarcerating you....dark eh?

Anyone else overthink your RPG characters?

Neutral Good. You get to do what you want, and you're not evil. It's the perfect combination. That's the standard for me, I deviate from it when I wanna roleplay as a more interesting character.

Chaotic/Neutral explains me very well.

Well ... according to This Quiblo Quiz, my alignment is Neutral...

Image

You are Neutral! You likely don't feel a strong pull toward order, chaos, good, or evil, but are indifferent toward any alignment. Or, you may simply be committed to a balance between alignments, believing them to be dangerous extremes. Also known as the "undecided" or "nature's" alignment.

PLEASE NOTE: If you take the quiz, select "None" from the last question, or you will be re-directed to another website where you may be asked to divulge private information.

true neutral or neutral good.

have played a very good chaotic character in a world where the state were brutal oppressors,

that said we ususally dont take the alignments too serious, they are meant as overall guidelines and i would rather have characters with a few quirks and delusions that go against their usual self than a fixed and strict system(in many other games the GM has adjustet the alignment of anyone that consistently strayed)

Ha! Interesting quiz. I got Lawful Good. There was a time when all I played were Paladins (computer game RPGS) ie Lawful Good types..

I would imagine in a table top game, if you had a good GM, you could have fun with being forced to stick to your alignment. I know I try to do this in games like Mass Effect for example. Although, I always end up making certain choices based on gameplay rewards like a skill for ex instead of what my character might actually do.

Chaotic Neutral, or Neutral Good.

I never play a paladin because I still find Lawful Good to be Lawful Stupid.

My current character is Lawful Good, although I've also run Chaotic Good characters.
