Because of the enormous frustration I went through last night when I tried to play The Sims 3! :x
I was thrilled to finally have The Sims 3 Supernatural expansion for my PC a couple of weeks ago, and it was running fine with no unusual problems. Then last night when I tried to play the launcher wouldn't appear (I can only start the game from the launcher as far as I know), and an error message appeared tellin me I need to reinstall my base game. So I decide to go to The Sims 3 official website and asked for help on the forums. Obviously EA games and other players don't know what a technologically impaired loser I am and I had to ask them to be more specific and clear with their instructions, which they kindly did. I had to go make a new folder, cut and paste all my data from the "old" game into it, reinstall the Sims 3 base game, start it to make sure it was working, quit and delete the folder with the new game, and move the folder with the old game and all its data to the EA Games folder and start again. Everything seemed normal again until I saw that I only had access to Riverview, I could not play any of the other towns because they contained data from the expansion packs that are "no longer in the game". *exasperated sigh* So I have no choice no but to uninstall and then reinstall all my expansion packs (I have around 10 of them!), re-enter all those stupid registration codes, which will take me the next day or so and after that I'll probably still have a lot of stuff missing from the game and will have to start all OVER!! !
Or maybe not since I took the precaution of saving my created Sims and even their homes to files after another situation beyond my caused my towns to be corrupted or something like that. What's the point of them even releasing games if they can still get bugs that can wreck your whole game, and you need to be a real techno-geek to fix it? :?

Oh, you don't know some of the issues I've had with sims 3. If I wasn't such a hardcore fan...
I have reinstalled my expansions and stuff pack at LEAST 5 times. At LEAST. I've almost memorized the stupid codes :/

And I've become more technological advanced as my issues with sims 3 goes on XD

EA charges too much money for Boost Points in Need For Speed World. Some of the in-game cars cost like $60, and most aftermarket parts are pretty expensive too. $60 is enough to buy a brand new video game and they want to charge people that for just one in-game car. That's f***ing insane. A lot of people still buy them though because they're addicted to the game and they want to take their game further.

serouisly, The issues I've had with Sims3, have often led to total crashes of my PC. I only recently began to play it agian. becuase for the time being. It is acutally working right. but, I really want the supernatural pack! I just won't have the money anytime soon... it's so expensive.

Ya wanna know how many times I've done that? countless more times I had to reinstall Sims3, even the base game too. but I can't blame EA for all of it, considering 80% of the time it was due to my excessive use of mods. which, this time around, I am trying to resist the mods I always end up useing. but it's hard.

I don't even play the Sims 3 anymore. Too much of a hassle. :x

It's a good thing I only have one expansion pack.

I will always despise EA for taking away regular Battlefield 3 servers and replacing them with rent a servers which cost players money. So often, I joined empty servers after they did that, and gametypes plus maps I didn't choose to play! That kind of greed is ruining the best FPS! Not looking forward to Battlefield 4.

Here are the prices for renting a server:
Battlefield 3 Rent a Server Prices
1 Day - $1.50
7 Days - $6.99
30 Days - $24.99
90 Days - $64.99

I still play The Sims 2. Outdated? Yes, but reliable it is.

I honestly don't have much of a problem with EA.

I hate EA for a different reason.

Madden 2005 has more content and features than Madden 2012.

Haven't touched '13 yet but I doubt it will come close to '05.

I was disgusted by the fact that 2005 was the first year for Franchise Mode and it was so awesome... then Madden 2012 is barely half the content.

I appreciate good graphics. I really do.

But video games are like women.... the initial WOW of the looks fade and you're left with the actual meaningful content - or lack of it.

The only titles I play on EA is battlefield and crysis. I find advertising annoying.

EA hasn't brushed me the wrong way. The EA Sports titles on the SNES back in the '90s were awesome! :)

Yeah, mods and CC are evil XD But they're so tempting!
I did say at least 5 because I know that it's that amount for sure. But I have a hard grasp of numbers, it can be 10 or 15 times in reality XD
