I find myself completely hooked on them! I spend at least 10 times as much time creating new ACs than I do playing the game itself. It's something about the logical basis and the creative side, combined with the sense of achievement when I outdo my last robot.
Does anbody else share the addiction?

oh man, it was soooo hard to take that game down! I totally agree, the part of customizing your AC is so addictive, this game should be illegal :P

The part of getting the right balance: power, should I put this gun, this laser, a machine gun? weight, do I want it fast, do I want a tank? cool looking, painting, speed, so many options!

hehe, yeah.

they (developers) knew it was addictive. You start to see that when they drop a little present here, a little present there, a new hidden mission...
*goes to find the AC cd*
hehe :P

how's the AC game for the PS2?

Pretty cool - the controls are a bit awkward. They just updated the control system, but it's a little too twitchy.
