You're in luck my friend, i happened to stumble upon Farming Simulator 2013 a few weeks ago and i have gotten to known it better.

How do you play? You start with a farm and a few vehicles, next to the farm is a grain field. To sell the grain you need to drive the big red machine over it, the Combine. If you have picked up a lot of grain (100%) you need to press O and you will see a pipe coming out your Combine.

Press TAB to enter EVERY vehicle you have and get a tractor, the red ones are more modern and the blue ones are old tractors. Drive a red tractor to your trailer and position your tractors backside towards the front of the trailer and press Q to attach, next drive over to your Combine and put the trailer under the pipe you unfolded with O and the grain from the Combine will fall into the trailer. This needs to be repeated 2 or 3 times to clear the first field.

Next press the button I to open up your PDA. Keep pressing I until you find the page that says "PRICES". See which place gives you the most money for your grain. Next you need to drive your red tractor with the trailer to the place you are selling it at, drive over the big hole in the ground with bars and press O to unload.

It is difficult to know the names of the places on the map so here:

Next it's VERY important to save money for a GRASS mower. If you are smart you should buy the big yellow mower which is priced at about 8,000$ Then you can press START, click on the button "Reset next selected vehicle" and click on the grass mower. The grass mower should be where C is on the map. When you click on it, it will be delivered to your farm.

Now take your "buhrer" tractor (the biggest tractor, yellow and green) and position its backside towards the front of the mower and press Q to attach. Soon you will get a message saying that either the Golf Course or the Camping has grass that needs to be mowed, and you will get a lot of money for it. You can edit the settings when you press ESCAPE. There you can choose if missions appear once every 15,10,5 or 2 minutes. To get a lot of money fast click 2 minutes. When you accept the mission drive your tractor to the red circle on your map (open the map with one press of I, and use 9 to zoom either in or out)

When you are there unfold the mower and turn it on, try to mow in straight lines. You will get more money if you do it faster. When you are done remember if you are at the Camping or the Golf Course and leave your tractor there. Soon you will get the same mission, these mowing missions only happen at the Camping or the Golf Course. It's smart to ONLY accept missions at the place your tractor is at.

So if it is at the Golf Course, do not start missions at the Camping or you will need to drive there. Instead say no and wait until they ask you to do the Golf Course again.

Some advice:

Every vehicle has "cruise control" which means you can press one button and it will keep driving at a constant speed. This is useful for driving long distances or focusing on mowing the grass. Try to press 1, 2, 3 or 4 to select different speeds.
Pressing "TAB" makes you enter the next vehicle you have. It doesn't matter how far away they are.
Press start and click "Reset selected vehicle" then you can click on vehicles that are STUCK, they will then be brought back to your farm.
I suggest to not accept missions that ask you to deliver things as they are extremely hard and unrewarding.
Chicken eggs are worthless so is wool, the biggest money maker is missions
Even a full field of Canola harvest is worth the same as a 2 minute long mowing mission.

Whenever you start a new game walk around your farm and look in every corner, there are a lot of round markers which tell you valuable information when you step into them. That is how i learned the ropes. I still missed a lot of things but i don't want to still be writing this tomorrow morning haha.
