So I finally got an xbox 360, and I just don't know what to play on it. I used to buy Nintendo system after Nintendo system JUST for the Zelda games, but now that you have to use those terrible remotes, I just don't think I can do it anymore.

So I know next to nothing about good xbox games, and my brother is mostly into fps, but I am looking to play something more along the lines of Zelda. I've played through Fable 2, but I'm having trouble getting into Fable 3. I really like bright graphics, and the Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are my favorite games.

So I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of xbox games that have a similar play style to anything like that. I also don't terribly care for really realistic games like COD and such, but I like more of a bright, cartoon look...

Beyond Good and Evil as well as Darksiders and Darksiders 2 are probably going to be the closest you will find.

I would say Dark Souls, but unless you like extremely hard games, I'd avoid it.

Now if they release Okami for the 360, that would be AWESOME!

There is Skyrim, the fantasy style is pretty good for matching with the fantasy in Zelda games, and you can play as elves, fight monsters, use bow or swords, etc

There is also the Batman Arkham series (asylum and city), it has a similar style of useing gadgets to solve situations and puzzels.

I didn't read the responses (except the one after your OP) so I hope these weren't mentioned already but:

Infinite Undiscovery- a very good game, it plays like zelda but has a levelling system like an RPG.

If you're on xbox live there's an indie game called "The fall of the Gods" or something like that, it also plays like zelda.
Also an indie game is "Evil Quest" which puts the player as the antagonist instead of the protagonist and it also plays like zelda, however it's slightly challenging at points.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Oh and ZELDA FTW!

Dark Souls got a port to the 360; you could try that.

Skyrim is another such game; but it is to Open-world like the fable games. If you did not like the open-world systems, then Dark Souls would be better than Skyrim.

It makes me sad that you're giving up on Nintendo, sadder than it probably should. You know, motion controls don't seem like they're going to be a big thing with the Wii U; they're on the way out. But that's not the biggest of Nintendo's problems, so I understand if you want to bail out.

This game has a style with parts similar a bit to zelda but still a lot of fun. Check out the game Magna Carta 2 for the xbox360

Magna Carta 2 plays more like an offline mmorpg. I felt like I was playing World of Warcraft during that.

I didn't like how Twilight Princess used the Wiimote (ended up playing it on the GameCube instead), but I thought Skyward Sword used it very well.

Even though it ain't a Xbox 360 game i suggest you look into Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon. It is said that the game is on par with zelda games, i personally played the game as a kid and it was one of the best games ever. You could easily download a emulator and play it within 15 minutes on the PC.

On the off chance you're from America and have a 3DS, Adventure Time would fit the bill. Plays very much like a Zelda game and also has some funny dialogue thrown in there. Shame there has been no sign of it in Europe as of yet.

NieR seems to be such an underrated gem....Ok, it's not the best, and it's apparent it's low budget, but it was still a very worthwhile experience and personally I thought it was great for what it was. While I'd say it's more like Okami, and it does experiment with a couple other gameplay styles and genres, it's still a bit Zelda esque and even has a few references to it. Too bad Cavia shut down and Square Enix seems to get the credit for it - another thing similar to Okami(as Clover Studios shut down and now Capcom gets all the recognition for it). Should be pretty cheap. Got mine from Gamestop for maybe $2 I think it was, though I'm not sure if they have it anymore.

I feel they could have made a better trailer for it, as this doesn't seem to do the game justice, nor does it portray any of it too well or what the game is about or how it plays properly. So I'll just post the amazing soundtrack here. :P
