About the Sims 2 seasons

I play the Sims 2 a lot and I do use the cheats (only some when I really need them). I have most of the expansion packs and I have just installed the seasons one. I love playing it with having different weathers, it makes the game more fun, interesting and realistic. But there's only one problem with the seasons one. If children or babies get too cold or too hot, a social worker comes and takes them all away, which ruins the game, so I find I've got to keep them indoors all the time.

The last time this happened was when I sent the children to play outside in the snow, all in winter coats, and they weren't even out there for that long. A message came up saying that they are cold or something, so I quickly got them indoors and sat them by the fire, but it didn't give me enough chance, and the social worker came too soon before I could do anything else, and so all of my kids were took away just when the game was going well and the kids had good grades and the baby had just learnt to walk and talk. I don't think this is fair to take the children away like that, and the same probably happens in the summer too when they are playing in the garden and get too hot, and you have to keep watching their temperature and having to keep sending them indoors to have lemonade or something.

Does anyone know of a way to stop the social worker from being able to turn up and break my Sim family apart? I did want to play a Sims family like a real life family, where the kids go out to play in the garden after school or at week-ends, but I can't enjoy it if I've got to watch their temperature all the time.

I would try using the "maxmotives" cheat and just keep all of their essential bars up so they don't get cold. This resets all of their needs.

Also using "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" before entering your current family will allow you to adjust their heat/cold just by clicking the green area of the little bar.
