Since losing my job just last month, I have had nothing to do but the things I want to do... video games are usually one of those things, but I find myself losing interest with time, and with this I feel spurred to take a bit of a cooldown period in the hope that my passion will be restored.

The problem, though, is that I need some more hobbies to help me get through this. I enjoy reading, listening to music, and watching films and select TV shows.

Apart from these, can you name any hobbies or interests that would cater well to a gamer like myself?

I love them.

Only problem is, the area I live in isn't exactly Geek Central so supplies are sparse.

Try to beat your harder games?

Worth a shot to get your backlog down to sell once you've completed them.

I think Anime is really over-rated...it's a stigma to many gamers and doesn't really promote any meaningful stories/doesn't help make you a unique gamer.

I like the odd one where it's the presentation more then the action but my god man...it's too much....and it's this weird obsession with them that annoys me as a gamer who watches Anime sparsely whilst watching drama shows that have a unique flavour.
