It was a 3D black and white cartoonish first person game I was playing a demo of and it literally made me jump out of my f*****g chair everytime I did something.

The game certainly wasn't meant for people who are jumpy like us, but I would like to know the name of it, I think I played it more than 10 years ago.

What system did you play it on? Did you use guns/swords/fighting moves? Was it puzzle-based/free-roam/platforming? What made you jump in it? Did you see any characters that you can describe? I don't know what game you're talking about off-hand but I did a search with the available info and found nothing concrete.

Well all that I remembered of it was that it was a windows game and whenever you stepped into something "wrong", something came on your screen, right in front of your nose, screaming at you and you were dead, game over.

You were in a hallway at start, maps were somehow square/rectangular-shaped, like in Descent or Doom.

The game had a big humoristic aspect too.

Hmm, I thought maybe it might be this game, but it is not black & white like I remember it being:

Was it maybe a Doom mod? People have made all sorts of scare mods for Doom.

No it really had simple cartoons, completely black and white drawn stuff, I got the feeling there were no colours in the game at all, except for of course, black and white.

And I think it was around the 99'/00' area, it didn't feel that old, animations were quite smooth.

It felt more like a book.
