I'll be honest and say that I wasn't sold on this game after playing the demo. I seem to be in the minority in that regard. I don't have much experience with Ghibli films either. I know that people who like Ghibli films, like them a lot, and Ni no Kuni seems to be marketed towards that particular fan base, in addition to children. As someone who belongs to neither demographic, I can't say the demo really proved that the full game would appeal to me. However, after seeing the latest episode of Shinkara, I am now sold on it. With that said, I may have to wait a little while on it, since Hyperdimension Neptunia, Atelier Ayesha, Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi, Etrian Odyssey IV and Sly 4 are all coming out in the next couple months too, and I'm not made of money. I suppose I could hold off on Sly 4, but I have waited several years for it. All other games on that list are probably going to be hard to find later. I'm sure Ni no Kuni is in the same boat, but I'm sure waiting a couple months on it won't hurt. If all else fails, there is such a thing as Amazon.
