Me and my friend are huge Gears of War fans. We've been playing Gears 3 for awhile now, and we were thinking about Judgement. This was prior to knowing much about the game, of course, and upon watching reviews and seeing changes, my biggest concern was that it wasn't like Gears of War anymore. I was torn, at first, and I needed his opinion. He said the multi-player looked fun, and I agreed, and when we played the demo for OverRun, we were addicted, and playing for hours on end. Since the game now has a reduced price and I can afford it, we made the decision that I should just buy it. After he left, I thought about how much I would actually play it while he wasn't there. It seems like a game I can only have fun playing with friends. It may be cheap, but I also have money for Saints's Row IV when it comes out, and I wanna get that. I loved Saint's Row: The Third, and played over 70 hours on it trying to do everything, and have almost all the achievements (not meaning to brag, but just giving an idea of how much I love it), and I know I'll have an even better experience with the upcoming installment. So, I can either get Judgement to have more fun with my friend when he comes over, and then wait til my birthday in December to get SR:IV, or I could just get SR:IV when it comes out, getting it as early as possible and not having to wait, and then get Judgement when I get the money again. I can only afford to buy one, and I don't know which I should get. You could say that Judgement would provide more fun for both of us when together (and he comes over fairly often), but again, I probably won't have much interest in playing it when he's not here, so I'll have nothing to do, especially since I'll have to play offline since I have no Xbox Live. I was hoping I could get a second opinion on what I should do. I'm sorry if this post is maybe long, and not "right to the point" enough for its length, but my mind is jumbled right now, and this is my first post, so I'm sorry about just said problems.

If a choice is between a game you can enjoy RIGHT NOW and one you can only enjoy with guests over, get the one that benefits you most RIGHT NOW.

Do you have the first two GoW games ?
The single player modes are excellent, and can be played Co-Op offline.
Amazon UK has them for less than £3 each second-hand (including the £2.80 P&P charge)

...you don't have any other games you can play?

I do, but I've already played them completely. I'm not one to keep replaying the same thing over and over. I don't have much money, so I'm not exactly a walking library of games. I only have 8 games to play, and as I've said, I've played them enough to be bored of them.

Unfortunately, I've already played them, and sold them already to get extra money for games a long time ago.
