Have you guys heard the classic games NES's DuckTales and Sega Genesis Castle of Illusion will be getting a HD port for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC? I wanna show you guys the trailers and was wondering you might be looking forward to purchasing the full games once they're released around this summer because I have never played the originals and want to get myself introduced the games.

I thought EA got the rights to make all Disney Games, I am guessing this is going to be the last good Disney game before EA ruins everything.

They don't have all the rights to make all Disney games since there are already two brand new developers are going to remake them under the original developers' supervision, WayForward Technologies remastering DuckTales and Sega Studios Australia remastering Castle of Illusion repectively.

Even I wouldn't trust EA Games to remake these because I don't agree with the direction they are going in with their acquired studios and their management practices.

I haven't played the originals either.

DuckTales Remastered looks quite fun, I like 2d cartoony platformer games, the trailer reminds me a bit of Wario land shake it. My only fear is that this game will go for € 50,- which is waaayyy too much considering that there are plenty of 2d platform indie games with the same quality for much less. If it's around € 25,- I might consider buying it and if it's below € 15,- it's a must buy for me. :)

Castle of Illusion....eeeeh...no gameplay trailer....sooo...yea...no comment. :?

Too bad they aren't remaking Mickey Mania, loved that game!

I think it's going to have a price around € 8-11 (or $9.99-$14.99 in USD) and I hope it's pretty affordable for us, veteran and new. Not to mention most of the original voice cast from the TV series will be voicing their respective characters in the game, especially the 93-year-old actor Alan Young who will reprise his role as Scrooge McDuck too.

Yowza...I knew he was old, but I didn't know he was that old.

LOL!

Sure he's an old man, but he still has that Scrooge McDuck within him despite being of very old age.
