New game by Naughty Dog (Uncharted series) set in a post-apocalyptic world. You play as Joel, a guy who lived through the apocalypse, helping the 17-year old Ellie, who was born after, getting across the U.S.
Along the way you'll have to fight by fungus infected humans and other survivors.

IGN gave it a perfect 10 and called it PS3's best exclusive. And it gets 95 on metacritic.

Alright, I'll say it... Joel and Ellie look the spitting image of a bearded Nathan Drake and Ellen Page, respectively.

Psyched to play it, but won't get around to it until at least next week. Naughty Dog has a great pedigree (Ugh, I honestly didn't mean to do that), and the scrounge-to-survive combat mechanic looks interesting.

I just finished the game and wow!
Not a perfect game (I would give it 9.7) but great nonetheless.

Getting all trophies is going to be a pain in the ass though.

I want to play it but i might have to resort to hiring a copy out instead of buying.I watched the intro and that made me want to play it more for some reason.

I love the game. I went in not knowing much about the game and was expecting Uncharted with zombies but was surprised it played more like Resident Evil 4 if Resident Evil wasn't bonkers and had characters you could care about.

Playing it a second time on Survivor difficulty now. My only issues were the occasional times when it was too apparent AI partners were invisible and the slight overabundance of supplies on the normal difficulty setting. I would recommend most people not new to videogames to play on hard.
