I'm excited for the game's release this Christmas, but I'm also slightly worried. While the multiplayer looks fun, and there are some innovative powerhps, along with some Galaxy-style elements to compliment the simple formula first found in Super Mario 3D Land, I'm concerned about the difficulty of the game, because although 3D land was fun, no one can deny that it was exceptionally easy, and the special worlds felt like an afterthought...

Anyway, I look forward to it, and I hope that my prediction is wrong.

Super Mario 3D-World is the E3 game that I'm most excited about. I'm curious how much better the graphics will be than Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. Those are the only two games for the original Wii that look better than anything for the Gamecube in my opinion.

Yeah, the Super Mario Galaxy games looked amazing, especially for the Wii. You're forgetting Super Smash Bros. Brawl, though. ;)

lol, SSB:B doesn't have better graphics than Gamecube games like Zelda:Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine, and Metroid Prime:2 for example.

Wind Waker's graphics were certainly more expressive, yes, and Sunshine's lighting and water effects were lovely, but I'm not so sure that Metroid Prime 2's graphics were more detailed than those found in SSBB...

Yeah, the gameplay videos look amazing. I was happy to see that the levels are quite a bit longer and more substantial than those found in 3D Land, even when played through ver quickly, and I'm not the sort of player who dashes through every level as fast as I can. I like what I've seen of the overall feel of the game and the soundtrack seems pretty good too.

Still though, part of me can't shake off the feeling that this will be too easy like 3D Land was. I sincerely hope that it isn't, though.

I so agree with you Kuribo I hope the game is a little harder than 3D land as well. It was pretty easy.
