Level 90 RP/Raiding/Occasional-PVP Dwarf Hunter (65-75K DPS, Occasional raid leader), here, been playing since Dire Maul patch. Love MM till the day I die, but sadly BM is top this Xpac, it seems. What a lame rotation, pfah! Playing a hunter should require some skill. Bring MM and it's ridiculous rotations back, damn it! Also got an XP capped 80 Frost DK for those times when I feel like Wrathing it up, got me a 70 Draenei Pally, also XP Capped, for running The Eye and BT like the good old days, a priest that I'm gonna XP cap for Cata, and was working on a gnome fury warrior, simply for the absurdity of dualwielding two swords that are three times my size.
Left a little ways into 5.1 with full LFR gear, and full rep with all except for the Black Prince and Lion's Landing. School took up to much time, and my guild kinda died post-Cata but I loved those guys and can't imagine playing in a different guild, so I bailed.
Seems we Alliance are the minority here. You know, I love Thrall and Cairne as much as anyone, and was totally pulling for peace... but how does it feel being Garrosh's lapdogs, eh? Man, when 5.3 comes out, I'm resubbing just to kill that uppity, Orc supremacist son of a Gronn.

I'm also a blood elf warlock, but I reached lv 20, and my mum refuses to pay for my subscription until I'm out of school. (WOW was interfering with me getting my hw done). So i made a new character a night elf druid. Do you have any tips for a WOW newbie?
Go Affliction with your Lock. Top DPS, at least it was in 5.1. As far as Druids go... Feral is beast this go round, forgive the pun. Stay they **** away from Balance, it's pathetic. Try healing if you've got a group of friends, but never, ever, ever heal a PuG. As my priest, I kept myself and our tank alive after the rest of my group had wiped in Scarlet Monastery (****ing amateur DPS...) and prevented a full wipe. As Shadow with a full DPS spec. I'm a damn good healer, and PuGs (Sorry, jargon... Pick Up Group, like in Dungeon Finder) destroyed my self-esteem. Never heal except in a guild.
Up until cap, go double gathering for professions. Mucho dinero. Also get the Gatherer add-on. It's so brilliant. When you do want a crafting prof, don't go with smithing. Leatherworking's a bit more useful, but ALL of the best gear is gotten through Raiding. I'm a huge fan of Engineering (Goblin Glider and Synapse Springs FTW), but it's a big, BIG money sink. JC is pretty good and in demand for most guilds, as is Enchanting and Inscription, especially since the buffs they grant are requirements for high-level raiding. And don't write off the secondaries. Archaeology is great fun and can get you some good pets and gear in addition to awesome lore, First Aid is cake to level once you get some money, Cooking is amazing and a must for anything higher level, and Fishing... fishing is fishing, boring but it helps a great deal with cooking. All of them help with the Endgame repgrind, and for that alone they're a must.
Most of all, dig the story. WoW's got amazing lore, and too many people rush through to get to endgame and completely ignore it. A lot of people complain that BC zones had a huge XP-rate drop, and that that's the worst part of the game, but it's amazing, IF you pay attention and read the quest text. I even went through the rep grind, just to get more of it, and THAT was a grind. Kurenai... *shiver* never again... You'll find a niche, whether it's PVP or Raiding or Questing or Guild Management, but without the storyline it's pretty much meaningless.
