What are your first impressions of Assassin's Creed IV? Are there any features you'd like to see in this game?

The trailer for AC4 actually made me think of something else I would like to see. I like the Uncharted games, but for being a series about treasure hunters and exploring lost ruins, they are pretty linear and lack much exploration. Would love to see one of those with multiple islands to explore and find stuff on in a mostly non-linear fashion, roll together Uncharted with elements of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, I would love it.

As for AC4 itself, I heard the naval combat was one of the best new additions in 3 and looks like they are running with it as a more significant gameplay element in this one. I haven't actually played any of the AC games but this one looks pretty good.

I'd give it a shot.

I'm a huge AC fan, and the naval combat was by far the best part of ACIII. If they expand on that more in this game it'll be great.

I had a lot of complaints about AC III so hopefully they learned from their mistakes on this one.

AC3 blows chunks. I've put it aside for now...don't know when I'll get back to it. I don't expect to do any more AC because of how AC3 makes me feel.

wtf happened to being an assassin?

and how on earth is whatshisname a master pirate now anyway? the main characters were supposed to be exceptional assassins and stuff thanks to being related to super humans. but that doesn't even remotely apply to sailing!

anyway:
visuals 10/10
music 10/10
gameplay remains to be seen
story remains to be seen

They really fell short with the last couple of games. Good luck ubisoft.

I honestly wasn't a fan of the naval combat. I love the series though and I can deal with it, I'll play Black Flag for sure.
