So, it just occurred to me that there are probably others out there who play the MMO Guild Wars 2,
and maybe some of you don't feel comfortable in your guilds or end up playing alone a lot.

I know that I hate to use gw2lfg.com to find a group for dungeoning or whatever. I'm just not comfortable with PUGs.

While I'm not "out" as being an Aspie to many of the members of my guild in GW many of them do know and all of them are really great folks. They even laugh at my jokes! :D They're good people, and a bunch of odd balls to be sure.

Anyway, I just wanted to invite anyone here to join us to play.

Heck, you can just send me a whisper or mail in game if you want to run for a bit or need help with a mission or dungeon.

I've gotten to know a lot of the folks in our guild over the past 5 years I've been playing GW1 and 2 online and made some friends I really cherish. We have a Ventrilo account too, so you can chat without having to multi-task or just listen in. ^_^

People of all ages are welcome, although we're mostly 19-35 years of age. Our youngest member is 12, and he lives in Australia. Most of our members are male but we have a few ladies, too. We have quite a few Australian members so there's usually someone on at all hours of the day, which can be nice if you're lonesome or sleepless.

You can find me on Fort Aspenwood server, or whisper/mail Mags Morrigan.9702 in game or add me to your friends list (N menu.)
We do bounties every Friday night at 8pm central, so pop by and meet the crew if you want to any old week.

Me and my wife actually run a guild on the Tarnished Coast server.
Even though you're not on that server, I'll definitely add you to my friends list.
You can also add me... can't remember my full account name (or at least the number at the end of it), but just add the character name "Gigas Lionhart" and that should work. :)

Nifty. Will do, Bitoku! ^_^

Let me know if you ever need a 5th for a dungeon or something. If I'm not in the middle of stuff, I would be happy to fill the spot!

Feel free to add me to your friends list and give me a shout if you try it out again. ^_^

I'm working on a low level warrior these days in the mornings sometimes. I tend to play my main at night for dungeons and fractals with the rest of my guild.

Nice, how do you like it so far? Warrior is actually the first class I leveled, and I still sort of consider it my "main" (though I've played some others probably just about as much and I'm not the type to stick to just one character in MMOs).

I really like it, actually.

I never played a Warrior in GW1 and I thought my Mesmer would be my main in 2, like it was in 1. Nope. lol
I run a Necro main, but the Warrior is quickly becoming a favorite. I have a long ways to go before I hit 80, but I already enjoy all the different weapon combinations and shouts.

It's a nice mix of solo-awesomeness with party buffs. Maybe I should try a Guardian sometime too. :D

That's what I'm leveling right now actually, a Guardian. It's pretty fun so far, but like your Warrior it isn't very high yet (level 22 as of this writing).

In GW1 I had just about every character. Here's what I think of the ones I have in GW2 (all are level 80 except Guardian)...

Warrior - Very powerful and versatile, it's easy to see why this is the most common class. Plays a bit differently than GW1, which was mainly just a pure tank in PvE. Now it's more of an offensive melee character mixed with some really good party support. Very fun overall, though a laid back class with a somewhat slower gameplay style. Their banners make it a ridiculously good team buffer.

Mesmer - My favorite concept class, and one of my favorites to play throughout GW1. In GW2 though they feel clunky, especially the illusion system, and I don't really like playing it at high level. Very different feeling from Mesmer in GW1, and not for the better in my opinion. Seems decent for PvP, but since I mainly play PvE, this is my level 80 that gathers the most dust. If they fix the illusions to be more effective and work better I'll probably be excited to play it again.

Engineer - Very cool class, very fast paced gameplay, one of the more powerful classes but takes a lot of work to play it well. Some people initially compared it to the Ritualist from GW1, but after using it I can say it plays very differently, especially at high level. The Kit skills are ridiculously good in particular, and I play my engineer using an all-Kit build, giving me access to a pool of 25 different weapon skills I can use at will.

Elementalist - Gets my vote for most destructive class, boasting probably thee highest area damage capability in the game due to its incredible damage stacking abilities. This one actually does feel a lot like it did in GW1, but the element switching adds some more versatility into the mix. This is my default damage class for elite content.

Guardian - Mine is still too low level to analyze fully, but I can say the Guardian is a very unique class as being one of the only effective healers plus the only real solid tanking class in the game. I generally like tanking a lot, so I'm sure I'll enjoy this one.

I've also played around a bit with all the other classes at least at lower levels. I can say I don't really like Ranger or Thief. Necro isn't too bad though. I sort of wish I'd made a Necro in place of the Mesmer.
