Today, Nintendo finally kicked off their service of releasing GBA titles, starting with Advance Wars, Mario & Luigi: Super Star, and Metroid Fusion! :D

Also, Nintendo released a new video showing never-before-seen details of the game. Enjoy!

ALSO... you only have 'til May 20th to play on any games with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, as the service will be terminated. Thus, you cannot play games like SSBB online afterwards.

Good to see Nintendo releasing them, but I wish they would release them on the 3DS as well.

The VC was always a nice concept, but I would still prefer re-releases and packages to the VC. Also, more games that were never translated, translated. There are still so many SNES and other console RPG's that never made it to the USA that should be translated and brought over.
Sure, there's fan translations, but that's beside the point. It would be nice to have official translations, and not all games are translated.

It makes zero sense to me that Ninty's releasing handheld games on their console, instead of their handheld. I'm guessing it has something to do with that gorilla sized tablet thing, but I'll laugh when the 3ds port of Super Mario Bros. 3 is the best selling of the recently announced batch of games. Ok, I admit, it's good that they're supporting the 3ds, for those who own one. They're dreaming if they think gba games will move wiius though. All they're going to accomplish is making wiiu-less 3ds owners question their motives, and wish they showed more support for the system that is selling, and does have a sizeable fan base.

For the record, I do think I want a wiiu at some point in time, but not so I can play gba games on that massive abomination of a tablet. I'm starting to think that the most utilitarian outcome of the wiiu debacle is for Ninty to cut support for it, and put all their eggs into the 3ds, but I guess it's good that they're actually showing that they care about wiiu. I've seriously questioned their strategy with this system in the past, and they have definitely given the 3ds more proper support. However, for me, it's a go big or go home deal. Either they seriously back the wiiu, rather than just go through the motions of pretending they care about their latest console, or they drop it and make the 3ds that much better.

If I didn't still have a GBA and all 3 games ( plus Metroid Fusion on 3DS ) I'd care more...plus they should be on 3DS rather than Wii U....and so far I own EVERY GBA game announced, really just waiting for Mother 3...

And ffs, Metal Mario in Mario Kart again? Come on....why do they keep throwing lame generic enemies and random alternate costumes/palette swaps into the playable roster over actual characters? I'd gladly pay extra to play as Geno, Mallow, Pauline, Captain Syrup, Mona, Ashley, 9-Volt, Kat, Ana, Candy Kong, Dixie Kong, E. Gadd, King K Rool, Vivian, Kooper, Parakarry, Dimentio, Mimi, O'Chunks, Fawful and Wart....on the plus side though, it seems we can FINALLY utilize an item switch option and race with no items or just some items. Which means: NO BULL SHTAKO BLUE SHELLS!! !! !
