I have to agree that finishing a game is something I don't do very often, at least not with really long games. Usually, when I do get to the end, I'm ready to launch into the next game. I'm sure I'll take up something tomorrow, since I've been busy working. Yeah, some shore leave I'm having. I bet real commanders don't have to spend their days working at Homesense.

I should go.

I'm not blaming you there, just look at Resident Evil 6, and you wonder why Capcom only has $152 million in the bank.

Mass Effect 3 may end up being remembered as the game with the worst ending of all time. Even Gainax fails to describe the fail of ME3. Especially since the otherwise impressive story of the ME franchise suggests that they could have done *so* much better.

It wouldn't be fair, however, to focus on ME3 as an example of other games. Not everyone screws up that bad...

ME3's endings were revised, you know. But, I have to agree that the original endings weren't great. I looked them up out of curiosity, and they were all similar, and lacked any indication that your final decision made a difference(aside from maybe the synthesis ending), let alone your other choices. The revised endings are really fitting IMHO, so you should check them out. I don't think the original endings were wrong, since the revised endings contain the same footage, but I think they were pretty underwhelming, and out of sync with the epicness of the rest of the series up till that point. But, worst endings in history? Seriously? That's a big statement. They're not that bad. They're just meh, though I guess people wanted more than meh, and I can't blame them. I highly doubt the original endings would have ruined the series for me though. Far from it. I saw the impact of my choices throughout the story, and the writing was great till the very end IMHO, so no ending would have taken that away from me.
